Bugs+ Labs
Bugs+ Labs are experimentexperimental, upcoming, and opt-in features ready for public testing. We do not guarantee that the real launch of these features will be the same, or even be added into an actual version. Labs may be glitchy at some times, but you can provide feedback and report the glitch at any time. Any user on Bugs+, regradless of the age of their account, or parental controls status (unless the feature may not be for younger kids), can join a lab and test the features inside it. Some Labs have separate requirements, so watch us for those. Bugs+ Labs are made up of individual Labs each with different features, so make sure to opt in to the Labs you want to try out.
Relation To The Refund Feature
Some of the Labs (not all of them) give you experimental refund features, so you can truely unleash the power of the refund features.
Learn how to use Labs, join them and take action on them
How do I join a Lab?
To join a Lab, you will need to follow these steps to choose Labs to opt into:
Go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon)
Tap Bugs+ Labs
Choose a lab you want to configure or opt into.
Follow the steps on the screen.
Why does the lab I want to access the features of have a waitlist?
Some labs require applying or waiting, while others, are open to the whole public. If you are given the option to Add me to the waitlist or Apply To Access This Feature, tap it, and we will consider adding you, or adding you to the lab when it gets released to the whole public. If you are given the option to Join & Enable This Lab’s Features, tap it and join the lab.
The best thing is that if you join a lab, the Bugs+ Labs features will stay until you leave or the lab shuts down.
If you get waitlisted, the wait won’t take long, so watch for the notification that says you get access!
Some Labs do this to make it so there is not too many people turning on a Lab in a short amount of time.
Why are there no Labs on the Bugs+ Labs page?
If there are no labs, there may be some Labs available but we did not roll out access to your user account. Rolling out is very quick, so make sure to stay tuned for new Labs there.
Also, some labs may require parental controls to be disabled, for example, if it has interaction features that we did not approve for kids yet)
How do I leave a lab?
Bugs+ Labs is made up of individual labs. If you want to opt out of a lab, you will need to do them separately. Labs are not enabled by default.
You can follow these steps to choose a lab to leave:
Go to the More sidebar tab (the 3 dots icon)
Press Bugs+ Labs
Select the lab you no longer want to be apart of
Press Opt Out & Reset Lab Data. This will opt you out of the lab, and remove associated data with the lab you chose.
Confirm that you want to opt out. You can always come back to a lab you opted out of, but it won’t contain your lab data.
How to remove lab or test data when a lab shuts down: If a lab shuts down or converts to an actual feature, we won’t transfer the data, since we may do major updates to it, but we will remove the lab data and if it turns into a feature, you can use new lab data. This is for privacy and compatibility reasons. There is no action that needs to be taken to do this, it is automatic, and we remove data within minutes or even seconds of shutdown.
How to reset Bugs+ Labs completely?
If you just want to opt out of a Lab, please follow the steps for leaving a Lab instead of resetting Bugs+ Labs. That will still remove that Lab’s data if you leave a Lab.
If you want to reset everything in Bugs+ Labs instead of a simple leave, follow these steps:
Go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots)
Press and hold the Bugs+ Labs button
After 3 seconds of holding the button, it should turn orange. Continue holding it.
After a few extra seconds, it will turn red and a 3 second cancellable countdown will start and it will say to continue holding to reset Bugs+ Labs.
When it says Reset Complete, stop holding. The Research & Product Development setting will turn off, all labs will be left, and the lab data will be removed. This won’t delete your game data.
I was enjoying the features of a lab, but it just shut down
Labs may shut down at any time with or without notice. This is since we can no longer handle a Lab, but usually we keep them. However, the best reason could be that the Lab has turned into an actual feature, thanks to your hard work, data and feedback. A simple test can go very far and turn into a feature release. This is not always the reason, but could be a possible reason.
How is my data used?
Throughout all Labs:
We don’t track your Bugs+ Labs data, but we may collect some essential data like how many times the user unleashed the power of a Labs feature, or at least tried to. We don’t create ”Lab Profiles” of you to try to track you down.
Specific Labs:
You can send Feedback or Glitch Reports to a Lab. We may try to see how many times you used a feature, unleashed the power of a feature, or tried to.
Why am I asked to take action within 14 days to avoid loosing access to a Lab?
Some Labs have strict guideline, while others have soft guidelines. Strict guidelines mean that you always need to follow them, while soft guidelines, you only need to follow the guidelines to maintain access, but you still need to follow the Bugs+ Rules all the time.
This means, if you don’t follow the suggested steps within 14 days, you will loose access to that specific Lab, but you will still maintain access to other Labs if possible. You will get reminders on the first day of that happening, the seventh day, then the last day of when you will loose access.
We will even give you reasoning.
The eligibility countdowns are lab-specific.
You can still use Bugs+ Labs during the countdown, but with limits, and don’t expect to go that far without fixing the issue.
What will happen during that time? We won’t allow feedback, Glitch Reports, or collect required data during this time, if you miss the 14 days window, then if you want access back, you will need to go through any waitlists, and do any required steps, and any Lab data will be deleted as well.
If you continue to loose access to a Lab a lot of times, you may get banned from Bugs+ since may be taking up resources and if a waitlist the time from the person who has accepted your request and any others for the Lab.
You may also get this notification if you are not using the Lab (for manually used Labs) or on Bugs+ (for continuous reminder or alert Labs, like detecting things in Bugs+, or reminding you of things, the reminder does not need to go off, but you still need to use Bugs+)
Available Labs
Here you can find the available labs you can join, and a description. There are usually 4 powerful Labs that you should look at and should consider enabling. Currently, we have 4 Labs, make sure to look a them and consider enabling them.
Refund Notifications
What are Refund Notifications?
Refund Notifications let you get reminders of when your Collection may be cluttered with duplicate cards, when you are refunding too many cards in a short amount of time (usually 15 minutes or less), or when it may not be a good time to refund (short on cards in your Collection). You get them via popups, and the duplicate detection feature will check for too many duplicates (more than 4 of the same card) regularly, but it is not real time checking, it happens every several minutes.
Refund Notifications are currently the first and main Lab.
How to get started with Refund Notifications?
Firstly, make sure you have an account (also known as BugID), if not, create one and merge signed out data with the new account.
Then, follow these steps:
Go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon)
Tap Bugs+ Labs
Select Refund Notifications
Follow the steps on the screen.
Can I change the thresholds?
Currently you can’t change the sensitivity or add custom rules of what you think each notification should be, but the good news is that we may add this feature later on, and we have chose the thresholds based on user experience.
You can still send us feedback so we can add this feature or change the default thresholds or send us a Glitch Report, but it needs to involve a glitch to send Glitch Reports.
How can I send feedback?
You can send feedback by pressing Send Feedback after getting 3 Refund Notification. You can also send Glitch Reports from that Lab’s settings.
Refund Reminders
Refund Reminders are part of Refund Notifications. This will give you reminders for when you should start looking through your collection to refund cards. One card with lots of duplicate wont trigger it, so you need at least 2 different cards that have lots of duplicates for the alert to trigger. This comes with the Refund Notifications Lab.
Can I snooze reminders?
You can snooze reminders until you close Bugs+ by clicking the snooze button on the reminder.
Over-refunding Alerts
You can get alerts for when you seem to be refunding too many trading cards in a short amount of time. This comes with the Refund Notifications Lab.
Wrong Timing Alerts
You can get alerts for when it may not be a good time for refunding since you are short on trading cards, which could help users build up on trading cards when their Collection is very small, so they are more likely to build up. This comes with the Refund Notifications Lab.
Collection Assessment
With Collection Assessment, it can review your collection and give you a score. You can access this score by going to the Collection tab on the sidebar (the SD card icon) and clicking the circled check mark icon.
You can also see the score when investigating a Refund Notification.
You can also see the score on the Collection Assessment option in Hub Mode.
On the page, you will see a score name (see below), a colour for the score, and there will be 5 rings around the icon, and some will be coloured up or greyed out based on the score.
What scores can I get?
Good - No cluttered trading cards (maintaining under 4 trading cards per card type), and at least 3 cards that are not Common or Uncommon. Colour: Green, 5 rings filled up.
Good - Collection can be improved - 1 cluttered trading card (a card type that has more than 4 trading cards), or/and not having at least 2 cards that are not Common or Uncommon. Colour: Green, 4 rings filled up.
Average - Collection should be improved - 2-3 cluttered trading cards (a card type that has more than 4 trading cards). Colour: Yellow, 3 rings filled up.
Attention needed - Collection needs improving - 4-5 cluttered trading cards, or having more than 2000 Bug Points but less than 8000 Bug Points but have less than 10 trading cards. Colour: Orange, 2 rings filled up.
Trading card collection emergency - Collection must be improved - More than 6 cluttered trading cards, or having 8000 Bug Points but have less than 25 trading cards. Colour: Red, 1 ring filled up.
Taking Action:
This is your chance to remove the clutter before you find problems with it. You will get help along the way.
The way to take action is to unleash the power of the refund assistant, sometimes it requires buying trading cards.
If you are doing other things, use Hub Mode to multitask.
The more severe the alert, the faster you should act.
You might not notice it, but just like real life cleaning, it’s a good idea to clear your collection.
The scoring assistant will give you more detail, but you can also activate the AI refund assistant as well straight from that screen without needing to go back to the main Collection area.
How to turn off Refund Notifications
To turn off Refund Notifications, follow the same steps for turning off a Lab.
Go to the More sidebar tab (the 3 dots icon)
Press Bugs+ Labs
Select Refund Notifications
Press Opt Out & Reset Lab Data. This will opt you out of Refund Notifications. Even though it mentions a reset, it won’t reset anything unless Refund Notifications stores something like settings.
Confirm that you want to opt out. You can always come back to Refund Notifications.
Personalized Daily Goals & the Unleash area
The Personalized Daily Goals & the Unleash area contains the personalized daily goals, and the Unleash area.
Personalized Daily Goals
What is Personalized Daily Goals?
When enabled, Once a day, Bugs+ will ask you if you want a daily goal. If so, a short survey will show to personalize the goals further. The goals are based off the survey responses and your data. This is generated by AI. This can help you plan what you will do in Bugs+.
What do Daily Surveys do?
Daily Surveys will help the AI with selecting a goal for you. You will get this when you choose you want a goal on the popup. They are very short surveys, but they will still help.
How do I turn off the daily goals?
To do this, follow the same steps for opting out of a lab.
You can follow these steps to choose a lab to leave:
Go to the More sidebar tab (the 3 dots icon)
Press Bugs+ Labs
Select Personalized Daily Goals
Press Opt Out & Reset Lab Data. This will opt you out of the lab, and remove associated data with the lab you chose.
Confirm that you want to opt out. You can always come back to a lab you opted out of, but it won’t contain your lab data.
How do I get started with the daily goals?
Firstly, make sure you have an account (also known as BugID), if not, create one and merge signed out data with the new account.
Then, follow these steps:
Go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon)
Tap Bugs+ Labs
Select Personalized Daily Goals
Follow the steps on the screen
What happens if I skip a survey?
You will still get a goal unless you chose No Thanks on the queetion asking if you want a goal for today, but it won’t be personalized, and it will only get it from your game data.
What if I miss the daily goal screen?
You will need to wait another day. This is since it is a daily goal not an on demand goal, but we may change it so if you miss the window or forget, you can get reminders.
Should I skip the goal if I don’t think I need it?
You should see and screenshot the goal for reference later on today, since you may not know you may need it, but it is up to you.
Unleash area
What is the Unleash area?
Part of The Personalized Daily Goals & the Unleash area Lab, it contains the Unleash area. The Unleash area shows suggestions on what power you could actually be unleashing. From new Labs, to suggestions and more, you may find your new best feature or get a good insight.
You can even setup new features with it.
Where is the Unleash area located?
You can find the Unleash area after enabling the associated Lab by going to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots) and clicking the “Unleash the power of“ button.
Or, if you want to find new powers to unleash while you do other things, go to the “Unleash & Setup“ area on Hub Mode. However, setting up new features straight from the hub requires Level 37, but you can always plan to setup features by discovering features to setup with Unleash & Setup.
Hub Mode
What is Hub Mode?
Hub Mode lets you nominate a computer that is signed into your BugID to act as a Hub while inactive. The Hub you add is like a second display while you are using your other computer, and you can do lots of things with it.
What features can Hub Mode do for you?
You can do these features, and more, right from your Hub:
Check notifications: There is no longer a need to close what you are doing to check your notifications - you can do it from Hub Mode.
Check your Bug Points and Stars balance, plus check your Level & XP: You can check on your balance without switching windows.
Check on the Common & Uncommon (and sometimes other rarity) Shop items: You can quickly buy Common and Uncommon trading cards from the Hub Display, but nothing else. You need to use the Main Display for the Shop if you want more exclusive items. You will get reminded if you try to get an item that is not available to buy on Hub Mode, and to use your Main Display. If you have Level 15 in Bugs+, you can also get Rare items from Hub Mode not just only Common & Uncommon.
Use it as an optional second display for some quizzes: On some quizzes like the ones where you have to find what bug is that, you can put the image bigger on the Hub and the responses and question on the main screen.
Check your Collection and refund trading cards: Need to get some quick Bug Points while you are actively doing another things? Or, want to see how your collection is going? You also can see your collection and refund trading cards on the Hub.
Tips & tricks while you progress through the game: While you are doing other things, the Hub will show some tips for you to unleash the power of every once in a while. (If you don’t remove the Tips widget, if you did, you will need to add it back.)
Hub enhanced or exclusive experiences: Some parts in Bugs+ take advantage of the second display, or require one.
Widgets: Check on your widgets, whether if it is daily quest widgets, or checking your notification count.
And Many More: There may be some we have not documented, and also, watch out for Lab updates and unleash the power of them!
Set up Hub Mode
Firstly, make sure you have opted into the Lab, since this is an experiment.
Firstly, you will setup the main device. You can always change this later. See the steps below to learn how.
Go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots), and press Setup Hub Mode. Make sure to do this on the Main device (the one you normally use as the main display)
Then, confirm that this is the main device. It should say that you will need to do this on the second device. Keep the screen open while you setup the second device.
On the Hub Device (the second display), go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon), and press Setup Hub Mode.
It should popup saying that there is a main display, and this device will be the Hub Device. You can choose to continue with the Hub Mode setup, or to change the Main display.
Choose how to activate Hub Mode. You can either choose after 9 seconds inactivity time, or by tapping Hub Mode on the Home tab on the sidebar (the house icon, but it is opened by default every time you open Bugs+, if you don’t change the tab). You can always activate Hub Mode via the Home tab regardless of setting. Choosing 9 seconds inactivity time will close off what you are doing on Bugs+, so be careful when using this during a quiz or a time sensitive event.
Add widgets to Hub Mode, or leave it with the default widgets. Widgets are useful information cards on Hub Mode.
Choose every how often to update Hub Mode. You can choose every 4 seconds for people who use Hub Mode a lot, or every 9 seconds for people who don’t usually use hub mode. Timing matters since if you launch an activity that involves Hub Mode, it will wait, but it may be slower for Hub Mode to change to the activity. Hub mode will always update every 4 seconds in a time sensitive activity.
Confirm your settings and click Ok.
On the first device, press Sync Hub Mode to finish Hub Mode setup, or re-open Bugs+ anytime to sync.
You can always change your settings later.
How can I change Hub Mode settings?
When the Hub Device is in Hub Mode, tap Hub Mode Settings. Or, go to the More tab (the 3 dots icon) on the sidebar on the second device, and press Setup Hub Mode. You won’t have to go through the setup again if it is already setup, so you can easily change settings.
How can I change the second display?
Firstly, access Hub Mode Settings. When the Hub Device is in Hub Mode, tap Hub Mode Settings. Or, go to the More tab (the 3 dots icon) on the sidebar on the second device, and press Setup Hub Mode.
Then, select Re-Nominate Hub Device. On the device you want to promote to be the Hub, go to the More tab (the 3 dots icon) on the sidebar, press Setup Hub Mode and select Make This Device The Hub, and confirm. Then, on the primary display (the old Hub) press Next, then OK on the screen you we’re on before.
What buttons and widgets are there when in Hub Mode?
Here are the menu items on the main screen of the Hub Device while in Hub Mode:
Notifications
Trading Cards (Collection)
Shop
Currency & Levels (check on your Bug Points, Stars, Levels & XP)
Enhanced Experiences (if there is a Hub Mode Enhanced Experience, you can load it quickly here if it is not refreshing in the time you want it to).
Daily Quests (check on your daily quests before you go on to do it)
Hub Mode Settings
Send Hub Mode Feedback (will only show when you are invited to give feedback. Invites are random while you are playing.)
Collection Assessment (only available if the Refund Notifications Lab is enabled)
Tips & Tricks (you can also see a single tip that changes by using the Tips widget)
Unleash & Setup (requires Level 37) (setup new features for your Main Device straight from the Hub)
We will add more over time after we think we need more, and after the Lab is confirmed to not shut down.
Here are the widgets you can add (add, remove or arrange them in the Widgets area of Hub Mode Settings, you can add up to 4 widgets (sometimes you can add up to 5 if you unlocked the ability to), make sure not to clutter your screen, 2 widgets if fine but you can add more.):
Tips & Tricks (get tips while you play, this is the widget enabled by default.)
Notifications Count (check your amount of notifications without going to check)
Daily Quests Status (check if there are new quests, or if you have completed some and need to claim the rewards)
Feedback Opportunities (see the time until your next opportunity to send feedback)
Level (check on your level quickly)
Bug Points count (requires Level 10, or else you have to check manually from Currency & Levels) (check the amount of Bug Points you have quickly)
We are adding more widgets over time after we have confirmed that the Lab is not shutting down.
How can I send feedback?
Watch out for Send Hub Mode Feedback to appear on the Hub Display. This will appear randomly, and will remove itself after a few minutes after appearing, so make sure to look for that. You can get reminders on when you can send feedback by adding the Feedback Opportunities widget. The widget will flash when it’s close to a opportunity to send feedback, so it may not be for you if you don’t want flashing widgets.
Is there any way to turn this off?
Yes there is! You can do it with the same way that you turn off a single Lab. We would like your feedback if possible, so wait for the feedback period to come first, it’s optional, but appreciated.
What does Enhanced Experiences do?
Enhanced Experiences are areas in Bugs+ that take advantage of 2 computers at the same time, or require one.
How can I move a refund notification, or a compatible popup to investigate on the Hub Display?
If you select Move To Hub Display on a refund notification, you can quickly see the context on the Hub Display, and take action if needed, without dropping what you are doing.
Some other popups may have a system like this as well.
About Hub Mode Prizes and how to earn points for unleashing the power of Hub Mode
The real answer is - Hub Mode gives rewards:
If you unleash the power of Hub Mode a lot, we will give you rewards. You can check your prize status in the Rewards & Freebies area in Hub Mode Settings.
What Prizes May I Claim?:
Bronze - You will get 1000 Bug Points. Simply unleash the power of Hub Mode 10 times.
Silver - You will get 1500 Bug Points. Simply unleash the power of Hub Mode 17 times.
Gold - You will get 2000 Bug Points and 10 Stars. To get this, unleash the power of Hub Mode 24 times.
Gold Plus - You will get 3000 Bug Points and 20 Stars. To get this, unleash the power of Hub Mode 32 times.
Platinum - You will get 4000 Bug Points and 30 Stars. To get this, unleash the power of Hub Mode 44 times.
Beyond Platinum, you will get 750 Bug Points every 10 times you unleash the power of Hub Mode.
I‘ve went past Platinum, how can I get a tier reset to get more prizes?
We will do tier resets along the way, so we may notice you have went past platinum, so we may reset your tier shortly. Take the gift offer we mentioned earlier as a chance while you wait. But good job getting platinum!
Does feedback count?
We will be happy to give out a 850 Bug Points gift for helpful feedback. You will get notified if you get selected.
Why do I get paid for this?
It’s still in it’s testing stage, so Bugs+ Labs may give incentives from time to time to boost the chances of the Lab succeeding - and to get feedback to find out if we should continue with this specific Lab.
What settings are there in Hub Mode?
Firstly, let’s unpack how to even go to Hub Mode Settings:
When the Hub Device is in Hub Mode, tap Hub Mode Settings. Or, go to the More tab (the 3 dots icon) on the sidebar on the second device, and press Setup Hub Mode. You won’t have to go through the setup again if it is already setup, so you can easily change settings.

This includes:
Dark Mode - Unlocked at Level 27, this lets you turn on or off Dark Mode.
2nd Generation Hub Mode - Unlocked at Level 32, this unleashes more features and a cleaner display.
Turn on or off Limited Time Features - Unlocked at Level 50, this lets you turn off any Limited Time features until there is different Limited Time Features, or turn it back on if it is already off.
Automations
Here you can setup automations to help you in the main game in Bugs+, or automate actions in Hub Mode. You need Level 35 or higher to use this feature.
Disconnect & Reset
The Disconnect & Reset options lets you disconnect the Main Device from the Hub Device. Here are the reset options:
Disconnect & Disable - Disconnects the Main Device from the Hub Device, while keeping data.
Disconnect & Reset - Disconnects the Main Device from the Hub Device, and remove settings and set it up again. Please note like other resets, it will keep the Hub Mode Prizes rewards but reset the progress.
Cleanup - Keeps data but removes all widgets and puts the Tips & Tricks Widget Back. Hub Mode will also activate after 9 seconds after inactivity unless changed.
How to set automations
If you get Level 35, you can setup automations. These help you in the main game and Hub Mode, but you need Hub Mode to manage them since the Hub stores the data of Automations.
Where to setup automations
Go to Hub Mode Settings, then press Automations
What can I automate?
Using daily quest refresher items
Unleash & Setup certain new Labs
Buy some Rare cards using Bug Points when buying cards is needed to increase the Collection Accessment score
Smart Goals (powered by AI) - The AI will set a goal to buy a certain trading card, buzz you on your Hub Display, and track the goal. This could be a limited time card you don’t have, or anything! (Requires Automations Starter or Automations Plus)
Renovate your Hub Mode widgets
Much more automations from the Automations Library.
How many automations can I have
You can have up to 3 automations with no Automations Starter or Automations Plus, but if you pay Stars to get more features, it may vary.
Upgrade your automations
Even though Bugs+ Labs is meant to be free, we are sneaking in paid automations as a exemption to trial it. With a paid version of Automations, you can truely unleash the power. It only costs some Stars each month.
This is just a test to see we how well it goes, but you can take advantage of it, it may not be in the actual versions if there is actually any. If we cancel the test everyone will get the features in Automations Plus.
Here’s an overview in what each paid plan means:
Automations Starter
Automations Starter gets you everything that is included in the Automations, plus:
Smart Goals Powered By AI - Hub Mode will randomly set goals, buzz your display, and tell you all about the goal, then make a countdown until it will fulfill the goal when there is enough bug points, plus some that won’t cause any trouble in the user’s gameplay after, to buy it.
AI Powered Suggestions - Just Ask to craft a special made automation just for you
Backup Automations To The Cloud - Tiered of Hub Mode storing automations on the device - Well, we will backup your automations on the cloud instead of only your device.
Prioritised Automation Running And Checking - Instead of checking once and a while, your device will check every 2 syncs for automations.
6 automations space instead of 3

Automations Plus
Automations Plus gets you everything that is included in the Automations, plus:
Includes features from Automations Starter, plus more
Extra Prioritised Automation Running And Checking - Instead of checking once and a while, your device will check every 1 syncs for running automations, unlike Starter and having no paid plan.
9 automations instead of 6 or 3 (based on what plan you are upgrading from)
Chat with a AI chatbot to maximize automations
Just Pay 11 Stars Each Month, get started in the Upgrade area in the automations area of Hub Mode.
1st generation and 2nd generation Hub Mode
1st generation Hub Mode
This is the original design we are testing. It has a detailed display, but sometimes may be cluttered to some people. This is the first rolling out period of features!
2nd generation Hub Mode
This is the next design we think will work better. It has a cleaner display, with spaced out buttons and widgets. There is also extra features, and this is the second rolling out period of features!
It even has some more experimental features and designs.
Unlocked at Level 32, you may find a new generation to unleash.
Unlocking more Hub Mode features along the way
You can unlock extra Hub Mode features along the way, alongside the built-in features, based on the Level you earned in Bugs+. The Level is your Bugs+ Level, not your Hub Mode-specific rewards tier. Levels are not only for Hub Mode, they also unlock Non-Hub Mode features as well which you can use in the main game not just Hub Mode.
This is to make Bugs+ engaging, and to roll out features in Hub Mode over time, sometimes to make sure people don’t make mistakes with the quickly get Trading Cards from the shop feature.
Passing a Level or getting a Level means you can keep the perks of that Level, not just the Hub Mode features.
You will get a notification when you unlocked extra Hub Mode Features.
Level 1: Built-in Hub Mode Features
This includes all the features we explained above that did not mention a minimum level. So Enhanced Experiences, Settings, Some Widgets and the other ones that don’t need a level to get. So, all the core features. There is actually a lot of these, and this is what takes up the most of all the features.
Level 10: Check on your Bug Points quickly without needing to go to the Currency & Levels area
Getting Level 10 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more Shop items that are not related to Hub Mode, you can also check on your Bug Points quickly without needing to go to Currency & Levels, with the Bug Points Count Widget.
Even without Level 10, you can still go to Currency & Levels to check on your Bug Points. You can also check your Stars and Levels, alongside Bug Points as well if you use Currency & Levels.
You can get the Levels Widget by adding it in the Widgets area.
Level 15: Unlock the ability to get Rare cards from Shop area in Hub Mode
Getting Level 15 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you can also unlock the ability to get Rare cards not just only Common & Uncommon.
This is very useful to get that Rare card you really want quickly. In this level, you won’t be able to get Ultra Rare, Legandary, Ultra Legendary, and Limited, but you may unlock some of those later. This is since the more you level up, the more likely you are not going to make mistakes on the Shop on the Hub Device.
You still can’t spend Stars on the Shop on Hub Mode, but you can still spend Bug Points. If you need to use Stars, you can still do it on the Main Device.
Level 20: Unleash the power of the AI Refund Assistant right from your Hub Device
Getting Level 20 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you can also unlock the ability to use the AI Refund Assistant while the Hub Device is in Hub Model without needing to go to the AI refund assistant on your Main Device.
Simply activate it from the list icon on the Trading Cards (Collection) area on your Hub Device, or from the Collection Assessment if there is a recommendation.
Level 25: Get one extra widget space
Getting Level 25 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you will also get one extra widget space to add to Hub Mode.
This means you will be able to add 5 widgets maximum instead of 4 widgets maximum. This is your chance to share feedback if 5 is too much, too little or just right.
Level 27: Dark Mode
Getting Level 27 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you will also get early access to Dark Mode in Hub Mode.
You can turn on Dark Mode once unlocked in the Unlocked Features area of Hub Mode Settings.
Level 30: More opportunity time for sending feedback
Getting Level 30 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you will get an extra minute in every time window for sending feedback, so you have more time to send feedback before the opportunity goes away.
Level 32: Second generation of Hub Mode
With the second generation, it has a cleaner display, and some more features. You will get an initial chance to turn it on or leave it off, but you can awlays find it in Unlocked Features in Hub Mode Settings.
Level 35: Automate Bugs+ actions
At Level 35, you can start making automations, exclusive to Hub Mode. Take this as a chance to enhance your gameplay! See the automations information for more details.
Level 37: Setup new features straight from Hub Mode
You can setup new Bugs+ features for your Main Device, straight from the Hub, even if it is not a suggestion in Unleash, once you reach Level 37. You still need to enable the The Personalized Daily Goals & the Unleash area for this to work. You can do this in Bugs+ Labs.
This adds an area called Unleash & Setup to Hub Mode.
Level 40: Unlock the ability to get Ultra Rare & Legendary Cards in the shop area of Hub Mode, and spend stars in tue shop area of Hub Mode
Getting Level 40 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you can also unlock the ability to get Ultra Rare & Legendary cards not just only Rare, Common & Uncommon. You will also be able to spend Stars in the shop area of Hub Mode.
This is very useful to get that Ultra Rare or Legendary card you really want quickly. In this level, you won’t be able to get Limited cards. This is since the more you level up, the more likely you are not going to make mistakes on the Shop on the Hub Device.
Unlike other Levels, you will be able to spend Stars as well as Bug Points.
Level 50 - Unlock Limited Time areas in Hub Mode
Getting Level 50 in Bugs+, alongside all the other features you unlock like more features that are not related to Hub Mode, you will also be able to use Limited Time areas in Hub Mode, that are for certain events, or just limited time in general.
This will help you in some events that have a dedicated interface (unlike BugOn), and you will also be able to use time limited features, that either help you, or are for fun.
This is a thank you from the Bugs+ Team. This is meant as a compensation for there not being any more rewards for Hub Mode after Level 50.
You will also see an option to turn off or on any limited time Hub Mode features in the Unlocekd Featuees area of Hub Mode Settings.
Clutter & Inconvenience Trap
What is the Clutter & Inconvenience Trap Lab
The Clutter & Inconvenience Trap lets you automatically "leash" lutter, and make some inconveniences faster to solve. Its a earned item that you can use. You need to enable it in Bugs+ Labs before using.
Where can I find and use my Clutter & Inconvenience Traps?
You can find your Clutter & Inconvenience Traps by going to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon) and clicking Clutter Traps.
How can I use a Trap, and can traps level up?
How Can I Use A Trap?
There are two ways to Use A Trap. One is the main way, the other is a quick way.
The main way - highly recommended
You can use a Trap by going to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon) and clicking Clutter Traps, then press Use A Trap.
This is the way that always existed, and is recommended due to you can see how many traps you have, level up your traps and more.
The quick, rush way - for time sensitive events
If you need to use a trap, but can’t navigate to the menu for doing it, like in time sensitive times, you can quickly deploy a Level 1 Trap by using only the Spacebar on the computer. This is very useful for when you are doing special quizzes and want to free up some trading cards to get rewards and clear inconveniences, but only need a Level 1 Trap.
Please consider using other ways as well if possible, and the Clutter & Inconvenience Trap Lab still has to be enabled.
But here is how.
Hold down the Spacebar
You should see Deploy A Level 1 Trap, Traps Menu, and Cancel. Continue holding, or press Deploy A Level 1 Trap to do it quicker, or you can press Traps Menu to quickly rush to the Traps menu we talked about above. (Clutter Traps menu, you can always go to it manually by going to the More tab on the sidebar [the 3 dots icon] and selecting Clutter Traps).
Continue holding. You see a 3 second siren countdown.
After the countdown goes off (and you have enough traps, like always and you see Basic Level 1 Trap Deployed, it will be deployed.
There is way to turn this off in Easy Activation Options we will talk about later.

You can earn traps by doing any of these actions:
Start using Clutter & Inconvenience Traps for the first time - You will get a 2 traps instantly after you go enable Clutter & Inconvenience Traps. This will help the player boost their first time using Clutter & Inconvenience Traps so they can test it, or help them level up their trap usages.
If the game gives you a boost - There is 2 types of Trap Boosts. If you get a Trading Card emergency score (if the refund lab is enabled) or it seems like the clutter or inconveniences are continuously (not only once) holding you down, you will get a Trap to help you, and a suggestion that you should use Traps to solve the issue. This bonus will only happen once a month as a limit per type of boost, so that is up to 2 boosts a month.
Get Level Up Bonuses - Every 6 times you Level Up, you will get 1 trap. If you enable Clutter & Inconvenience Traps for the first time, you can claim Trap bonuses you missed out on when you weren't using the Clutter & Inconvenience Trap Lab, for every 5 levels up to Level 25, so up to 5 traps you can get. You can still get 1 Trap for 6 levels you get after enabling it, with no limit.
Give valuable feedback - If the developers think your Feedback is valuable, they may give you 1 Trap as a thank you. This will be given to high quality feedbacks, so simple It's Good feedback responses without elaborating may not be given a bonus to. This bonus applies to all Labs that you gave valuable feedback to, so it could boost the other bonuses you get from other Labs.
Get them in limited time Events - You may get a Trap as a gift in limited time events, since sometimes the developers sneak in rewards for users of a specific Lab as a bonus.
Get bonus Traps from Daily Quests - If you complete Daily Quest tasks, you may get 1 or 2 Traps. This does not happen all the time, and it is random - very easy or normal quests are more rarer to trigger a bonus Trap, More involved quizzes have a higher chance, and harder quests have the highest chance.
Get all the answers correct in a Quiz - If you get all the answers in a quiz correct, you may get 1 or 2 Traps. You can only get this bonus 3 times a month per type of quiz. You may not get this bonus if the quiz is very easy, but there is still a chance, but easy quizzes get the minimum amount of bonus Traps.
Can Traps break or expire?
Can Traps Expire:
Traps can only expire if they are active, and you reach the maximum amount of time a Trap can be active, based on trap levels. Traps can’t be wasted if you did not unleash the power of them - they are fully refunded back to you if you don’t successfully use them. To make a Trap have more time without expiring, use the Level Up feature to batch multiple traps.
Can Traps Break:
Yes, they can. They have a set amount of usage based on Trap batching and Trap Levels. After that time, the trap will break and show a popup saying that the trap has broken, and if you need to use another one. The amount of usage is how many trading cards is involved in the actions of that usage session. If you cancel a pending action of that trap, it won’t count towards it breaking.
What exactly do traps help with?
Here is what traps can do for you.
Find & Refund Clutter
The trap can leash clutter, and then add it to the refund list. This is very useful for resolving refund notifications, refund issues, when in a special event, for your daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning sessions if you want there to be any or even for general Bugs+ sessions. This traps the Clutter part of Clutter & Inconvenience.
Once clutter is detected, a 4 second countdown will start, followed by a 3 or 2 (sometimes even instant) minute timer (based on Trap Levels and Batching). Unleash the power of batching and Trap Levels to unleash the power of Traps.
Quickly Buy Trading Cards When You Are Short On Cards
If you are short on cards, the Trap can get you some trading cards (it will try to avoid duplicates, but sometimes it does not avoid it to help boost your collection further) to boost your collection. The system will get a mix of Common, Uncommon and Rare cards, with your Bug Points balance in mind. It does not use Stars or buy expensive items, its designed not to drain your points. This traps the Inconvenience part of Clutter and Inconvenience.
Once you are short on cards, a 6 second countdown will start with info saying it will buy some trading cards in a few seconds. You can cancel it, or start the process. If you don’t respond it will do it anyway.
Misc Features & Strategic Use
If you unleash the power of batching (Trap Levels), you may get lowered countdowns, instant countdowns or you may find out you really unleashed the power of your Collection. This is something useful to note.
What happens if I close Bugs+ while a Trap is being unleashed or being used?
If you don’t manage to make it to the end of the Trap and Bugs+ crashes or you close it, and you did not unleash at least 40% of the power, some Trap Levels have compensation.
What Compensation Does The Trap Level I Am Using Have:
Using a trap, but the Trap did not unleash its power, while using Bugs+
General Compensation: Get the Traps you used back - full refund. General thing in the Traps system.
For closing Bugs+, or Bugs+ Crashing
There is higher compensation since we can’t track stuff that does not save to the servers.
Trap Level 1 - No Compensation due to that the compensation for Trap Level 1 can be easily misused
Trap Level 2 - You can get 10 minutes of trap action time with 4 uses until it breaks as soon as you agree to the compensation rules. If the power is not unleashed just like the normal way, you will get a single Trap.
Trap Level 3 - Get 2 Traps
Trap Level 4 - Get 3 Traps
Trap Level 5 - Get 3 Traps
Unleash the power of the Level Up feature by batching up cards to get compensation plus lots of other perks.
Is there a limit to how many Traps I can store?
Yes. You can stack up to 50 Traps at the same time. Getting more Traps than that will give you a notification in your Notifications, but you won’t get the Trap that exceeds the limit. Think of it like the maximum storage in a real life box where you store your Traps.
How to free up space
You don’t really need to free up space, just unleash the power of them, don’t waste them to free up space. It is not like computer storage that you would have on your phone, it’s a digital Trap that can actually be unleashed.
But, using Traps does free up space.
How many traps do I have?
You can see how many Traps you have by going to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon) and clicking Clutter Traps, then look at the amount of Traps you got, it will appear on the screen.
What are Unlockables and how do they help me truly unleash the power of Traps?
Unlockables are unlockable features that can extend the available features in the Traps system. You can unlock them by completing specific tasks.
What Unlockables are available?
Higher Trap Levels
The Higher Trap Levels Unlockable allows you to use Trap Level 5 (batching 5 cards gives Trap Level 5) if you have enough Traps to use (5 Traps). Making users have to unlock it will prevent users who are new to the Traps system from wasting their hard earned Traps.
To unlock it, follow these steps:
Have some experience in the Traps system - Have a total of 3 or more different trap sessions.
Check-in by going to the Use A Trap menu - After doing the step above, Complete the short tutorial by going to the Use A Trap Menu and completing the short Leveling Up tutorial. This will show how to Level Up your traps if you did not know already, and tell you that you can use the new Level 5.
Competition Time
The Competition Time Unlockable lets you compete in Competitions with friends or with the Bugs+ global leaderboard system (which means anyone).
To unlock it, follow these steps:
Have a bit of experience in the Traps System - Have a total of 2 or more different trap sessions.
Go to the Use A Trap menu - After doing the step above, go to the Use A Trap Menu to unlock the Competitions feature.
Competitions may have Unlockables inside it like the Boosts function.
Will there be more Unlockables announced?
Yes, we are planning to add more Unlockables so you can truly unleash the power of the Traps system.
How do I turn off (or turn back on) the spacebar holding for quickly deploying a Level 1 Trap?
Go to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots icon), then press Clutter Traps, then press Easy Activation Options.
This is on by default. It is a rush way to activate it quickly, which can be used in time sensitive times without closing the quiz you are in (as an example), see the activation options for more info.
Select Quickly deploy traps by holding the spacebar, then turn it on or off.
About Competitions
Once you unlocked the Competition Time Unlockable, you will be able to compete in Competitions. You will be able to get credits in the Competition by unleashing the power of the Traps features.
How do I join a Competition?
You can join one by going to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots) and click Clutter Traps, then press Competitions. You will then be able to join the Tier 1 Competition after doing the short tutorial. If there is not enough players, you will need to wait for more players or for the developers to add bots to it. Sometimes you may need to wait for the Competition to start, and other times you can join it or start it yourself without waiting. Waiting for more players or waiting for it to start is called a lobby.
Are the players in the Competition real?
Yes, most of the time. Sometimes the developers will temporarily add bots to it if there is not enough players, but that is only sometimes.
How do I earn credits?
Use a Trap - You get 15 credits per trap used. For example, if you got Trap Level 3, that would be 3 traps used, so 15x3=45, so you would get 45 credits.
Earn a Trap - Every Trap you earn, you will get 5 credits.
Unleash the power of the Trap Actions - Every 3 trap actions in a trap usage session you use, you will get 10 credits.
Break a Trap - If you use all the Trap's actions you will get an extra 20 credits.
Send Feedback and get a Trap Bonus - If you send feedback and get a Trap Bonus by the developers, they will add an extra 15 credits to the competition you are in at that time.
Report A Cheater - If you report a cheater to Bugs+ Support, you will get the bounty reward, and on top of that, you will get 25 Credits.
Get A Boost - Every time someone gives you a boost (unrelated to trading card emergency boosts) you will get 25 credits to boost your gameplay.
Give A Boost To Someone - If you give a Competitions Credits boost to someone, you will get 12 credits as a thank you.
Can I loose credits?
No, you can't. The credits you earn (not the prizes, Bug Points, Stars or Refund Credits, or anything else you earned other than the credits) will be reset however for the next tier. Credits are also seperate from other currencies in Bugs+.
What Competition tiers are there?
There are different tiers so you are in the leaderboard that is right for you. After finishing a tier, you get moved up to the next one. There are different users in each Competition Tier.
Tier 1 Competition - This is the first tier you get after setting up Competitions. The prizes are normal, and it is a great start to the Competitions system.
Tier 2 Competition - After finishing Tier 1 successfully, you get moved to Tier 2. The prizes are showing an increase, and it is a mid level.
Tier 3 Competition - After finishing Tier 2 successfully, you get moved to the last tier, which is Tier 3. The prizes are better, and after this tier, instead of a tier upgrade, you can re-do Tier 3 (and keep your prizes), and keep on getting high level prizes (which is the best part), the only thing you need to make sure is that you don't downgrade to a lower tier.
Is it possible to downgrade to a lower tier?
If you go above the maximum leaderboard position for moving to the next tier (usually 45 if there is lots of players, it depends off how many players there are, but it may be higher for Tier 1) and that Competition ends (if not, you will have a chance to unleash the power more), you will either stay on that tier or go down. If you are on Tier 1, you will stay on the tier, but if you are on Tier 2 or Tier 3, then you will move down a tier.
How can I check the status of a Competition?
You can check the status of it by going to the More tab on the sidebar (the 3 dots) and click Clutter Traps, then press Competitions. If you joined a Competition, it will go straight to the current leaderboards, days remaining, options for leaving a Competition, options for sending Boosts, and more.
How can I check my tier?
It will tell you in the same area you check the Competition status.
How can I leave a Competition?
Go to the status for the Competition, then press Options For Leaving, then press Leave. Your tier may be downgraded based on your position on the leaderboard, to prevent people from misusing the leave feature to keep their tier. You can always join again, but there may be a Lobby.
If you are in a Lobby, the process is a bit different. Go to the status for the Competition, then press Options For Leaving, then press Drop Out. You won't loose a Competition Tier for dropping out while waiting for the Competition to start.
How long is a competition?
Each Competition goes on for 6 days (nearly a week), then the results will be decided and shown. To see the results and claim prizes, make sure to check the Lobby.
So that means the prizes, tier changes, leaderboards and more.
What are the prizes?
Prizes are given when the user's position matches a position on the leaderboard that is eligible for a prize, when the results are announced, so make sure to keep your position.
Here are the prizes based off each Competition Tier:
Competition Tier 1
These prizes may not be much for some players, but it is still a great way to get started.

Is cheating allowed?
No, cheating is not allowed, and will get you banned. If you report a cheater and they get banned, you will get one of these bounty rewards:
Normal Cheater - 1000 Bug Points, plus 25 Credits in the leaderboard
Repeat Cheater - 2000 Bug Points, plus 25 Credits in the leaderboard
Cheater that causes lots of damage to the competitions, including using bots or doing very high amounts of damage - 3000 Bug Points, plus 25 Credits in the leaderboard
The bans apply throughout the whole Bugs+ platform, some bans are permanent, sometimes temporary, but still appealable most of the time.
Can I appeal the ban?
Yes, but only sometimes. If you think that the ban is rushily decided (rushed in the decision or investigation process) or should not be given to you in the first place, use the Account Status & Appeals feature on the ban screen, then choose the type of the appeal (so select Ban Appeal), then draft your appeal, and hit Send. There may also be second chances if you did it on purpose of they don't believe you, so make sure to watch out for them. You only have 6 months to appeal a Competition Cheating ban.
Is there a lobby between Competitions?
Yes, there is. After the Competition, there will be a 2 day waiting time in the Lobby before the next Competition starts, but you can join the Lobby if you are waiting for the next competition to start if you are currently not in.
If there is not enough players, the Lobby may go on for longer.
You will need to claim your prizes during the lobby time if you got any or you would miss out on prizes on the Competition you earned them for - don't worry, you can still get more if you miss out, but you will still need to try harder. Simply claim your prizes from the popup that you will get.
You also need to claim your tier upgrade if you got one. If you got a tier downgrade, or staying on the same tier, it will happen automatically. Simply do it from the popup, just like the prizes.
This also allows new players to come. If you missed the Lobby time to join a Lobby for the first time or after leaving a Competition using the options for leaving, you can join the Lobby while you wait for the next Competition to start.
You can check if you are in a Lobby by checking the competition status.
Credits won't count during the lobby, but when the Competition starts you can start getting Credits and start competing in a Competition.
Waiting in a Lobby but want to know when the Competition will start? You can check the estimated time until the Competition starts on the Competition status.
How do I make sure that I won't miss out on any updates relating to the Competition?
There are 2 ways we make sure you don't miss out.
Home tab Widgets
We will add a very useful widget to your Home tab on the sidebar (the house icon), and the best thing is it opens by default every time you open Bugs+. This is the Competitions button normally found on the Clutter Traps area, but easier to access. However, It will only appear during Competitions and Lobbies, and you will still need to use Clutter Traps to progress through the Competitions. This is also a quicker way to claim prizes.
Pop up reminders
If there is something you need to note, like the results, or anything else relating to the Competitions, a popup and notification will appear.
Why am I not appearing in the leaderboard or getting tier upgrades regardless of the cut off threshold?
You need to have a minimum of 30 Competition Credits to appear on the leaderboard. This is what happens if you don’t:
Missing out on tier upgrades - You won’t get any tier upgrades, even if you are under the maximum threshold.
No leaderboard visibility - Your username won’t appear on the leaderboard untik you get enough credits.
Higher chance of demotion - Just like being over the maximum threshold, you are more likely to fall in this range and get a tier downgrade. Even if you have more than 30 Competition Credits, you can still get demoted.
You can always go back to normal by getting 30 or more credits. Having more than 30 credits does not guarantee a tier upgrade, but it still gives you a chance.
Giving & Getting Boosts
You can help your friends and get help from friends by sending and receiving Boosts. However, they can only be sent in Tier 2 or Tier 3. The person who gives the Boost will get 12 credits as a thank you, and the person who got it will get 25 credits. You can send a maximum of 3 boosts per Competition. You don't need to spend Competition Credits to send Boosts - use the 3 Boosts per Competition if you want to send Boosts.
It is not only limited to friends - you can help anyone that is in the same tier as you.
How to send a Boost
Go to the Competition Status and press Boost A Friend. This feature won’t work in Lobbiesl You can then enter their username and give the boost without affecting your balance - it's a great way to help. However, they need to be in the same Tier as you or else it won't work.
Check how many Boosts you have left:
You can also see how many Boosts you have left from this Competition in the Boost A Friend area, just before entering their username.
Can I boost myself?
Of course not. If you could, that would be cheating. However, you can still ask a friend for a Boost.
Can I give a single friend or person multiple Boosts?
Yes you can give multiple Boosts, but you need to be careful of the Boosts limit. Be careful of scammers and cheaters who try to trick you into Boosting them.
Can I buy more boosts or earn them?
No, you can’t, but you get a generous amount of 3 boosts per competition.
Tips & Tricks
Understand the guide - Using the info we provided, make sure to understand how the system works.
Drop Out of a Lobby when you think you may not be playing the next Competition - This is a useful feature, and you won't drop down a Tier. If you are in a Lobby, you can use Options for Leaving to Drop Out of a Lobby if you are waiting, so make sure to use it when you may not be participating next Competition.
Unleash the true power of the Traps feature - Try naturally and competitively using the Refund feature, both at the same time, and make sure to unleash the true power of the Traps feature.
Check the leaderboard - You should check the leaderboard and your position to get an idea on what you should do next - keeping up, or keeping or improving your prizes.
Be Active - Being active is the secret unleashing key to getting better tiers. Try logging in every day and actually play, don't rush.
Claim your prizes, don't abandon them - This is also a secret perk of logging in regularly, you will be less likely to miss the lobby.
Help your friends if you are feeling kind - Sometimes you may not feel like doing a competition. But, you can still use the Boost function to help your friends if you want. It's not required, but it sometimes helps.
Use Batching - The more traps you use, the more Competition Credits you will get.
Use the widget we add to your Home tab - Need a quick way to open the Competitions area? Use the button we add!
Enable Refund Notifications - While not a major thing, but if you enable Refund Notifications, you will get boosts for collection emergencies, plus the other benefits, and more stuff to give feedback on.
There is more to this - Make sure to dive deep into everything about the refund feature - it will really help.
How to Send Feedback?
On one of these popups that you get from the Traps, press Send Feedback. Here are the eligible popups:
Broken Trap - We collect this feedback to see if the maximum usage is good for unleashing the power of, or needs to be changed.
Trap Expired - We collect this feedback as general info, and for managing the length of a trap.
You Got Compensation For Bugs+ Crashing - We collect this feedback so we can understand if we need to make a way to keep the remaining Trap data for next time (if we think so, it will go in a Lab update), or just use the compensation.
Trap Expired & Refunded - Just like Trap Expired, we collect this as general info, and for managing the length of a Trap.
Other popups may not have Send Feedback.
Reward For Sending Feedback
You may get a Trap if you send valuable feedback. As a reminder, this applies to all Labs, so you should also send feedback on all Labs if you want to give valuable feedback while getting Traps.
Research & Product Development Setting
The Research & Product Development setting is required to use Bugs+ Labs.
You can enable or disable it by going to the Account Tab on the sidebar (the person icon) and press Settings, press More, then press Research & Product Development, and review the setting. If disabling and you have Labs opted into, agree that a 14 day timer will start for eligibility purposes.
This will update it for all your devices signed into your account (also known as BugID). If you forget to turn it on, a popup will show reminding you to turn it on will show when you setup Bugs+ Labs, and if you agree, the permission will be enabled for you. Turning it off will make the 14 day window go off for eligibility, just like we said earlier in this support post.
You will also get a chance to review it when you setup your account, but you can always set that setting up later.
This data permission is a privacy feature. You need an account (also known as BugID) to turn on this setting.
